One of the reasons I so looking forward to going to Disneyland was so that we could eat at the Blue Bayou and have their famous Monte Cristo sandwich! My best friend and I went there for our senior trip and it was so YUMMY! I don't know how long I had been craving this! Our family ate there and it was completely dark so I got some strange looks when I took a picture of my plate and the flash went off. It was so worth it!

The happiest place on earth!

This last week we took a trip to disneyland with our three girls. It was so fun and the girls had the best time seeing all the characters and princesses. They have always loved any disney character so DH and I feel so blessed to be able to provide wonderful memories for our girls. The first day was rainy but we were expecting that, but it was still fun, K and I were the only ones riding Dumbo and all the fantasyland rides, how often does that happen? It was so great the rest of the time we were there, it was beautiful and warm, I miss it!
I think the best memorie I will take from this is the time when I was holding hands with K and A and we were walking around the circle in Toontown and DH and C where behind us taking pictures and DH yells K look befind you! And coming up right behind us was Goofy and he took K hand and walked all around the circle and then took us to go see Minney Mouse. It was so precious to see my little girls face light up when he was holding her hand. I will always remember that! I think we saw every character there was to see, I love that as a parent you get a whole new disney expeirence when you are there with your kids then if you went alone. Here are some pics from our trip.

Oh blankies how I love you!

So my daughters have an obsession with their blankies, and those of you who know my kids know this to be true, they have to take them everywhere! In the car, at the store to church ( I have gotten better about having them leave them home for church.) I don't remember when this started, but these blankies are loved so much and at times I am very grateful to have them around. They comfort my little girls the way only mommy and daddy can if we happen to not be around. They help stir my girls imagination and take all sorts of abuse, but they love them no matter what they look like or smell like. lol
This post is for my girls blankies, I am so glad that my girls find such comfort and happiness when you are with them, even if it is everywhere we go!

Valentine Craft
I saw this craft on Martha Stewart and I thought it looked so cute! I don't have any Valentines decorations so I asked my sister if she wanted to do it with me. It only took us like a half hour and it turned out perfect, I am so happy to have something to put up for the love holiday!
All I needed was a foam ball, some Valentines cupcake liners and push pins. This whole craft cost me about 8 dollars.
All I did was push the pin in the center of the cupcake liner and then fold it over and push it into the ball and continue doing that till the entire ball is covered. I left some empty space at the bottom of the ball so it would lie flat on the candlestick.

EGGS!

I woke up this morning to find my twin girls breaking the last of a 18 pack carton of eggs all over my favorite red chair and all over the carpet! They know how to open the fridge! Today we went and bought a child proof latch for it! I think something is wrong with me, instead of immediatly cleaning this mess up, I took pictures!

Yay for me!

So I did my very first distressing project! My husband made a clock in wood shop back when he was in high school, I really loved it but I was trying to brighten up my kitchen so I asked if I could paint it and he didn't care, so first I painted it a light blue and then sanded it to distress it, then I stained it. It turned a little different from what I expected, but for my first try I am happy.

Welcome 2010!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
2009 was full of ups and downs for our family. It felt like mostly downs, but now 2010 is here and I have a new hope that everything will settle down and I can focus on being the kind of wife and mother I want to be. I am thinking of doing family resolutions for FHE and setting goals for ourselves and for our family. I love having things to look forward too and to strive for.
At the moment I am trying to decorate my home. I have a hard time figuring out what I want on the wall. It takes me forever! I will post pics once I figure it out.
