Peek at the Pecks

It feels like it has been months, but really only 3 weeks.

I am doing better, I still am having a hard time, but there is definitely progress.

I feel like such a downer sometimes, but am so grateful for my life and what I have.

This experience has made me appreciate everything so much more!

I miss my little brother everyday, but am so glad that I believe that I get to see him again and when I do he will get a big kick in the balls,

and then a huge hug!

Its been a week since my brother died.

My family and I have been so busy, planning all that goes into the funeral, all his belongings, etc.

I haven't really had the time to mourn him. I miss him like crazy and wish I had told him I love him more.

My husband has been so wonderful, I couldn't have asked for better support.

I have had some good times this week too.

I received a BEAUTIFUL arrangement of flowers this week from my Rock Springs friends, it made me feel so loved! I took them everywhere with me, (I know I'm weird.)

My friends in Utah gave me a surprise paparazzi party, they displayed all my jewelry and invited everyone they knew to come. It was awesome. The day he died was going to be the day of my first party and after that happened I just kind of lost all the excitement over selling it, but that helped restore it a little.

I am getting some help in dealing with all this and I think I will keep getting better and better, I kinda wish it was a year from now so I could look back on all this and not feel so much anxiety and sadness. Time heals everything and I am just going to take it one day at a time.

I am really looking forward to getting home and not being around so many things that remind me of my brother and of course I miss all my girls in the Rock.

Hey baby brother,

I know you are having a big family reunion up there, but I hope that on this day you are here with us and can see all the people that loved you and cared for you.
I am going to miss you everyday! I was not ready to say goodbye to you yet, but I know that you are at peace and that I will see you again.
I remember growing up that you were my best buddy, protecting me from any dangers and playing with me even when it meant you being dresses up as a girl.
I loved you so much then and I love you now.
I remember playing make believe baseball at the park, putting on magic shows for Brittany and Ashley in the backyard, you painting my dolls face brown. I was so mad at you, but couldn't stay mad for long, I never was able to be angry with you.
I remember eating lunch with you on your very first day of junior high, all the road trips we went on as a family, and your excitement at finding another song you liked and having to share it with me. I remember you driving our van into the garage door, and your face when it happened and it was all because you were wearing your stupid Tasmanian devil slippers. I remember you bearing your testimony on trek and being so proud to call you my brother. I remember your face when you got to show us your new baby boy. How proud you were.

I remember so many things, mostly little things, like dinner times, and school days and your cub scout pack meetings. But I mostly remember being with you and knowing that whatever I needed you would be there to help. I always knew that you were always going to be there for me and now that you are no longer on earth I expect you to watch over us from above.

I love you baby brother, till we meet again!

These are the thoughts I prepared for the funeral. I almost couldn't finish writing it. I know that there are alot of unanswered questions and suspicions on what happened, but I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends who understand what a hard time this is and don't ask about the details. That they will love me and support me in anything I need. I just want to thank you so so so much! You are all helping me get through this and I LOVE YOU!

New outfit for C

So I have been wanting some ruffle pants for my girls,

I mean they are so stinkin cute, but I was not about to pay $60.00 for an outfit!

I thought maybe I could do it myself.

Now I am NOT a sewer, I can do a hem and sew in a straight line and all, but that is it.

Growing up my sisters and I all got a sewing machine's when we turned 14 (I think)

So I have had this machine for awhile and I am so grateful to have it.

I think they turned out pretty cute and when I make any more I will know what to do better.

I just happened to go through all my clothes to donate this morning and I had this shirt. I like the stripes and has some cute coordinating fabric, so I cut it up and used that for the pants. And I had a little extra fabric and I made a headband too.

This past week Bri and I got away for a little bit.

We went to Portland to go see our new nephew!

He is freakin adorable and I would have taken him home if his parents would have let me.

I think I may have held him the whole time.

My mother watched our kids, so we could go and I am so grateful!!!(Thanks so much mom!!!)

We had a such a good time. Here are just a few pics of what we did.

We drove to Mt. Helens where they filmed the first twilight.

We also drove to Astoria and went inside the film museum.

They had these film sets set up and bri got into it.

The twins had their second 1st day of preschool!

They left the car and ran in, not even a look back, like they had done it a million times.

It wasn't as emotional for me as last year, but knowing that next year they will be in kindergarten blows me away, that my babies are getting so big. And that next year I will be one of those moms, tearing up after I drop them off.

This has been one of the best summers!

We have played with friends almost everyday, gone to see grandparents in Utah, went to Bear Lake, had some family reunions, barbeque's, and LOTS of fun!

We headed to some family reunions this week.

First we went camping in Weber canyon for the Beecher reunion and then headed to

Star Valley Wyoming for my Fletcher reunion.

We had so much fun at both and we were able to visit Jackson while we were gone.

I have a TON of pics I need to post but it will be one day at a time.

Our computer is working again! YAY!!

We had a birthday party for our twins on Saturday.

We had all their friends come and we played pin the tail on the donkey, and

My biggest girls are 4 today!

Its hard to believe at times that they are only 4 years old
and others that they are already so big.

This post is mostly for me. I want to always remember how they are right now.

Aniston:
She LOVES anything Rapunzel or Tangled
She likes Mexican food and playing Barbies
She is my girlie girl, anything dress up and playing house,
she is my shy one, but will jump in the pool like she has no fear.
She started saying "Actually" in front of everything she says.
She has the cutest freckles on her nose.
Her favorite color is pink, she can spell her name now and is starting to write it down.
She loves to read and
could probably have mac and cheese for dinner for the rest of her life (or so she thinks)
My oldest by only 45 seconds, but she is high on life!

Kenslie:
My tomboy
She LOVES to play outside and ride her bike.
She is more outgoing, but is sensitive sometimes.
Her favorite color is green and she loves Jasmine.
She hates grill cheese sandwiches and anything spicy.
Could eat jello or cheese sticks all day long.
She likes to sing. She sings when she thinks no one is paying attention to her.
Knows the words to the Jar of Hearts song. (Hilarious!)
likes to help me cut out coupons or to snuggle with me.
Wants hugs and a kiss random times during the day (How can you deny that face!?)

I made it through the twins preschool graduation.

They technically won't be graduating till next year, but I still teared up a little bit.

Miss Emily put on a very cute program. She is the best and my girls LOVE her!

Bri was able to be there and Papa and Grammy Peck came to watch, it made it special for the girls.

We live in an apartment so there isn't very much storage space and we are not allowed to paint the walls, so it has been a challenge to find a place for everything and at the same time have it look cute and put together.

We have had this board lying around for awhile and I thought I could make it into a coat hanger.

(I was so tired of having the floors of our closets be the the catch all for all the bag packs and jackets)

This is what I came up with.

I don't own a cricket

(yet)

so I hand painted the bird and rolled some flowers to put on it, then distressed it a little bit.

Super easy and I am happy with how it turned out.

Mini trifle

I layered buttery vanilla loaf cake (that I found at walmart),

lemon curd (I found the recipe for it here)

All my girls have been sick this week, so since we couldn't go anywhere I thought it would be a good time to

paint this dresser. It was this light blue color and I liked it fine, I just wanted something new.

I really love it, and I think I am going to change up Chloe's room to match it.

Easter Time

This Easter weekend was super busy, we headed to Utah since Bri had the week off, but before we left we did our apartment complexes egg hunt.

They got SO many eggs, We have enough candy to last us till Halloween.

We also went to another egg hunt with a city mom group,

They organized it so that each kid got 10 eggs, and of course my Aniston only picked out the pink eggs.

(I love Kenslie's face in this picture.)

Friday night we colored our eggs.

Then Saturday we headed over to my parents house for Easter lunch and another egg hunt, these are all the grand kids, (minus one) lined up.

All my adorable nieces and nephews!!!

And Saturday night I brought one of my very favorite family traditions to my family.

Growing up my mom would put our hair into sponge curlers for church the next day and then we would sit and watch The Ten Commandments, while having root beer floats.

The root beer floats were a big hit, the curlers not so much, they didn't make it through the night.

Oh well, it was still one of my favorite memories as a kid and now as a mom.

In the morning the Easter bunny hid their baskets, they found them pretty quick.

Even Dad got a basket!

I realized we never got a picture of the girls in their Easter dresses. I will have to get one this Sunday.

We did a ton of other things, but that will have to wait till another post.

This weekend was pretty good, I got something done that I have wanted to do for awhile.

This room has driven me crazy since we moved in.

Its our laundry room, pantry, pretty much our catch all room.

BEWARE!!! It was a disaster!!

Now I am much happier with this room.

Disneyland

Caution: Picture Overload

We just got back from our Disney trip and it was amazing!

Nothing went wrong, the girls were perfect and the weather was

the TOTAL opposite of what we have now at home.

In the Princess fantasy faire Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Cinderella

come out and do a show and teach all the little girls how to dance like a princess.

My girls were in shock, as you can see.

And of course we had to ride the tea cups!

This is what they did every morning while we waited for our shuttle at the hotel.

Hide and Seek

And run around in circles.

Then we went over to California Adventure and met

Minnie Mouse!

This was Aniston during all the fireworks and During World of Color and Fantasmic

and during lunch cause we sat under the monorail tracks.

In the middle of the day we all headed back to the hotel and

crashed for a few hours.

The twins were so tired they fell asleep like this.

We got in an hour earlier one morning and we are waiting to get into the princess fantasy faire.

They all look so cute in their princess dresses.

We happened to be the first in line that morning to meet the princesses and when they were about to let us in the line. Belle comes out and takes my girls hands and walks them through the whole line and onto the little alcove where you visit the princess. Needless to say that was my girls favorite part of the whole trip!

Belle is one of Kenslies favorites so she was so excited to get a hug from her.

One of the Disney photographers wanted them to do a thumbs up and

my cute Chloe did a fingers up.

And then Chloe met "Her Fish" in real life.

Because I am so awesome or really stupid I waited in line (while daddy took them on other rides) for an hour so the girls could meet Rapunzel.

She was Anistons other favorite.

It was 90 degrees the whole time we were there, so they all had red cheeks.

And of course we had to see this guy!

And this is just a cute picture.

That was our trip and we had a blast!

because of the famous Wyoming winds the roads are closed and he is stuck in Laramie.

But I would rather him be safe, especially since I saw a lady's car get flipper over from the wind today on the freeway.

Our mini sleepover

My girls are just now starting to feel better, they have been sick since Monday.

And since we couldn't really go anywhere, I thought we would have a slumber party to do something fun.

We painted our fingernails, everyone picked a different color.

Kens has green sparkly nails, its her favorite!

We crimped our hair and me trying to get

Ann to smile at the camera and her trying to watch the show at the same time.

Last time we were in Utah, we thought that we might be able to find some ducks to feed. We didn't find any ducks, but we found some HUGE geese.

Today Aniston just happened to be in charge of snack today for school, and in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday, we thought we would make green eggs and ham.

(I thought about making actual green eggs and ham, but there was no way to get them to school without them getting cold and soggy YUCK!)

We decided to make a treat that just looked like green eggs.

Here is what we came up with.

We laid two mini pretzels together on a sheet of wax paper, then melted some white chocolate and spooned it over the pretzels and then added a green M&M on the top, then just let them cool.

These are the finished eggs.

It was soooo easy!

We also added Swedish fish, for "One fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish"

And some pink juice for the Finks pink ink. To finish her Dr. Seuss snack.

Do you think their teacher will hate me for having 9 kids to watch all with a sugar rush?

I don't really have anything interesting going on, so I thought I would share just some of the things that go through my head during the day.

Oh five more minutes..five more minutes..what are my girls doing in there..Oh gosh I have to clean this room..maybe when bri gets home from work, I can get him to help me move some furniture..What am I going to do with the twins room..Oh my gosh I love my girls..I love those smiley faces..my baby is getting so big..stay little..I need to start potty training her..mmm pancakes sound so good, no better stick with cereal and fruit..need to loose more weight..girls better not eat on the couch..need to clean the couch..are those hand prints on the wall..what is that smell..not Dora again..i guess it is better then gabba gabba..why does Dora always yell..when is nap time..snack time already..do we have anything healthy to give you..I need to fix that picture, its crooked..so glad the I have girls..wow they have an amazing imagination..what IS that smell...wish I had a house and a yard...miss my hubby...need to shower..wish I was as creative as this blog..so tired..wish my twins would nap..maybe we should do a play date..who should I call...what day is it..oh no don't touch that..it is so cold..I love those smiles..wow the day is going by fast, I love that..i should probably get out of my pajamas...

Today I took all my girls to Walmart, it was an experience,

first some crazy lady tried to run me off the isle with her cart. LOL you know who you are!

Then we were heading to go check out and all of a sudden my twins yell out "He's hot!" and of course Chloe copies everything the twins say so she is yelling "Hot!, Hot!, Hot!"

I was so confused about what they were talking about I turned around and there in the posters was....

WHAT! Are you kidding me!

I swear they didn't here that from me!

Hello World!

Our computer crashed a month ago and we just got it back today!
I sort of felt like my right arm got cut off! LOL
It was a long time, but I have a had a fun time with my hubby and girls.

Thanksgiving was so yummy~ Dinner with the Pecks, desert with the Beecher's and leftovers with the Fletcher's. Felt so lucky to have so much family!

The holidays were a blast, we stayed home for Christmas and loved watching our girls wake up Christmas morning! The Sunday after, Grammy and Papa came up to our house and we opened more presents, skyped with Brian's brothers and had a yummy dinner and my first attempt at making a trifle (totally by scratch! It was interesting) Then went to Utah the next week to visit my parents! Missed being there for Christmas morning with all my sibs.

Me and the girls got SUPER sick with pink eye and the full on FLU! Horrible week! But we are finally better!

I got called to be a YW secretary in our ward, so excited to be apart of the Young Woman program, I already love all those girls!

This is an update for our family for the last month or so.
Because of the 5 degree weather here I am getting pretty creative in keeping my kids entertained!

Christmas Cards

I have always wanted a cute Christmas card with a great family picture on it.

I love having lots of Christmas cards to display and look at during Christmas!

Every time I see one of these wreaths I totally drool! I love them and I every time I think, "I can totally do that!" so finally I sat down and whipped it out. It was so much easier then I was thinking it would be and I LOVE it! Sometimes I gotta thank goodness for my girls destruction, otherwise I would have had to tear out book pages myself.

Elizabeth Kartchner is one of my inspiration idols! I love everything she creates, she is so talented and I am so glad she shares with the rest of us mortals. She has this wall in her home so of course I wanted one just like it in mine too.

This is my little version of what she did and I am really liking it, most of the time it takes me forever to decide to put up on the wall, or I put something up and then end up taking it down and rearranging it a million times.

Around this time of year, there are a TON of scary movies on TV.

I HATE scary movies!

I can't stand the monsters, demons, ghosts, aliens or anything else that make a movie creepy! Now it is isn't the actual movie, I don't mind being curled up with my hubby watching it, what makes me crazy is that when the movie is over I picture creepy, dead, gory things in my house! My side of the bed looks down our long hallway and I just start imagining scary ghosts coming down the hallway at me, or looking at the window when it is dark outside and think something is going to pop out! I don't know what it is and I can't stop thinking about it!

I hate having those images in my head so I just gave up on scary movies all together, which kinda sucks cause hubby LOVES all things Halloween, poor hubby, he will just have to cuddle with himself!

Am I totally a nerd for thinking this?

One year ago today...

I was waiting to go into surgery, my hubby and my mom and my sister was there.

Ya see I had been diagnosed with cancer three weeks earlier.

I went to visit my dermatologist about a mole I had on my ankle. It wasn't looking right, so I had him look at. He then told me, ya it looks weird lets remove it and then I will do a biopsy and they can tell if it is anything to be worried about.

I waited and waited and waited.

It only took a week to get the results, but when you have no idea what to expect it seemed like a year.

I got the call the night my husband was coming home after being gone for six weeks at basic training in the Army. He didn't even know about all of this. (he wasn't allowed to have any phone call or Internet access, only letters.) My doctor called and said that it was positive for melanoma. And that it was deeper then they expected and that I needed to schedule surgery as soon as possible so they can remove it and some lymph nodes to test if it had spread.

I was shocked, I didn't think this happened to people my age. I mean I was 26 and had just been told I have stage 2 melanoma!

DH called me from the airport to tell me when I could come and get him and that is when I told him. At first he didn't believe me, he laughed and said ya right, but after a while he got that I wasn't kidding and he was so great and supportive about it all.

I went into surgery and they got it all!

My doctor is known for his shark bites so now I have a wicked scar on my ankle and behind my knee and in up on my thigh. It didn't end up spreading, I was lucky. So now I am called a cancer survivor, but I have seen worse cases and seen people suffer greatly and fight it, those are the people I call survivors.

Now I have to go in every four months for five years, so they can check me and make sure I don't have any more surprises.

I have an AMAZING support system, I was able to recuperate and rest and learn to walk again thanks to all the people that watched my kids, made sure I ate, took me to the ER when I thought my ankle was infected, etc. Thank you so much to all of you!

So today, I am so thankful for all my many blessings! And that I am healthy and able to be here for my family. Love you guys!

Cute thing happened today

I showed A a picture of the SLC temple and asked what it was, usually she says Cinderella's castle, but this time she said

"THE TEMPLE!"

" Yes" I say and "Who is that?"pointing to the top

"That is an angle Moroni, he needs to come down and be safe,

he needs to come down and stand on the grass!"

What could I say, I smiled and said he is up their to share the gospel to everyone.

She seemed happy with that answer, but how adorable is my three year old!?

For our family night activity this week (dh was actually home!) , we got a haunted house kit from the store to decorate together. We got it out of the box and it was broken, so dh fixed it!

The other day I took the girls around The Rock to try and get some pictures taken of them, I feel like I need to take more, they are growing so fast. There are some really great places to take pictures here, I was so happy to find some that I could use. I didn't get to all of the places I saw, my girls weren't enjoying the photo shoot as much as I was, (as you can tell from the pic below, lol) oh well, more for another day.

Hello, my Rock Springs friends! I am doing this on my blog because it was WAY to much to do in a text. The Halloween craft is still on, but now I added a smaller craft for the people who want to do something smaller and cheaper then the Halloween one. It is some oak leaves made of wood, they are about six inches long and about 3 inches wide. There are 12 of them will be made into a fall wreath, six on the bottom layer and six on the top layer. They are so cute! I don't have a picture yet, but as soon as I do I will post it.

I have a new sister in law! My brother in law got married this weekend and we are so happy for him! They are perfect for each other and we love Krystal!

We drove to Portland to see it and it was a beautiful wedding, they both looked stunning! Especially the bride! My girls were the flower girls and they did such a great job and they looked so adorable!

My girls first day of preschool! They were so excited to use their new backpacks, and to meet their teacher and play with all the other kids. They looked so cute and I just can't believe they are getting so big!

When I picked them up after school all they could talk about was all the things they learned. And ever since they have loved going to school! Lets hope it always stays that way!

My hubby and I put together a kit and it was so easy and it turned out adorable! I am thinking of hosting a craft night so others can have this adorable Halloween decoration in their house too!

My camera charger is missing and I have no clue where it is, so until I replace it, I thought I would blog about a little day trip my family and I took, that I do have pictures of.

Back before the weather was warm, we took the girls to go see Martins Cove. I have been before but it had been soooo long, and DH has never been , so we thought we would just drive 3 hours out of our way to go see this monument dedicated to our some of our pioneer ancestors.

It was a very cold day and super windy, but we did it and they girls thought it was sort of cool, DH really liked it and even found an ancestor of his listed as one of the first rescue party.

Bless the missionary couples there, because they took our girls into the little theater, to watch a documentary about the Willey Handcart Company( I was thinking ya right, good luck with that), so DH and I could walk around the museum, without saying "don't touch that!" every five seconds! Surprisingly the girls did well watching the movie, all that got destroyed was a box of tissues. (Did I mention they were in there all alone?) So pretty good considering they had no clue what they were supposed to be watching.

The missionary couple even took us up the road to see the entrance into the cove, (So Cool!) We didn't go all the way in, because of the weather, but it did give us a little (I mean minuscule) insight into what the pioneers must have been going through!

We also stopped at Independence Rock, but it was blowing really good then, so just DH got out and hiked to go see it. He got some great pics of the names in the rock and when the weather is better we plan to go again to hike up on top with the kids. That should go over pretty well. We'll see...

My sis and I took the kids swimming this afternoon!

My girls just like to sit on the steps and pretend they are in the water swimming, so funny, but I guess that comes with the age.

Then they found the outdoor showers and had a BALL! It was so funny to see them all playing together and C trying to be as big as her sisters.

So I got to go to the emergency room this evening, when my oldest's temperature was 103.8 and she was throwing up!

I always feel so bad when my children are sick, because they are so little and can't tell me what is wrong and I feel so helpless!

She is happy now though, knowing she gets bubble gum medicine three times a day! LOL

So FINALLY I have these pictures up of the twins birthday party! I am glad it is over so I have no more to plan, but it was so fun and they had a blast!

Originally we were going to have the party outside in my parents back yard, but the weather had other plans and we ended up using our church's gym. It turned out better then I thought it would and I had a TON of help! Thank you so much, you know who you are!

We dresses the girls in puffy dresses and little crowns to help them feel like real princesses.

We played Kiss the Frog, It's like pin the tail on the donkey, but we put red lipstick and spinned them around and had them try to kiss the frog. It was sooo cute!

Last Monday night we spent our family night with some friends on top of white mountain. We roasted smores and the girls road on a little motorcycle and took turns on the four wheeler (which they LOVED!)

Last Thursday we also took the girls to the Hogle Zoo!

This is the first time C has gone to the zoo!

I am so sorry these are a little late in coming, our computer broke so it took awhile to get these on here!

This is our amazing trip my hunny and I went on! The pictures are a little out of order so start at the bottom and then come up.

We had a day in Florida after the cruise, so we rented a car and since Brian won some money in bingo we decided to upgrade to a Mustang convertible. We drove to Tampa to go to Busch Gardens. Needless to say DH REALLY REALLY wants one! (Like that is going to happen :)

If you have done a Carnival cruise you know about these! So cute!

My girls love to play outside, but there are times when I can't be out there with them all day and if they had their way they would be outside all day long! So I open our sliding doors and let them play on the balcony, it safe and the railing is super high and close together so they are able to play out there as long as they want to. I did it I made my own bread! I have never tried to make bread before ...gasp.. I know my young Women leaders are shaking their heads now! lol but I my goal is to no longer buy store bought bread and I like the idea of always having the smell of fresh baked bread always in our home. I made two loaves and they turned out sooo good! They are soft and fluffy and so yummy! We also had another surprise at our door, papa showed up! My girls were so excited to see him! He read them their bedtime story and we all knelt down together and said family prayer. It was so precious and my girls love their papa's! They asked for him all the next day.

So I went to the Albertsons yesterday, to use some coupons for the first time! I got all five of these Johnson's Buddies bars for FREE! And the John Frieda Shampoo and Conditioner were on clearance for $3.24 and I had coupons for $3.00 off so I got them for .24! I was so excited I was jumping up and down in the parking lot! I have joined the craze of COUPONS! I really don't know why I haven't started this before. I went to a party with the Utah Deal Diva and she broke down the process of coupons and how to make them work. This is embarrassing but as a family of five we spend about $600 plus a month just on food and house hold needs like diapers and shampoo. This woman has a family of five too and she spends only spends $200! I couldn't believe it! So I jumped on the bandwagon and now I am a couponing collecting crazy person!

My little K, I love her so much! She is my middle angel, the most daring of all my girls, the most cuddly and she has the temper, she is the most outspoken and has the best imagination! She will let you know what she thinks and she has started to call me just mom instead of mommy. What happened to my little baby that was so small when she was born, that I could hold her in one hand. She has grown so much and is no longer my little baby, but my big girl that has no limits to what she can do. She makes me laugh everyday and also pushes me to my limits, I am so glad I have her as my daughter. Love you baby!

SLUG BUG RED!

While my hubby and I go on drives, (which is my favorite thing!) We play slug bug, and I know there are many different variations in which to play, hitting and kissing etc. whenever you see one. We play the kissing one and every time we see a slug bug we peck kiss and then if we see a red slug bug then we get to french kiss! It is so fun for us and we have been playing since we got married! We are always on the hunt for the red slug bug. Sometimes while driving it will have been quite for awhile and one of yells out SLUG BUG RED! It makes me so happy that he is willing to play with me and that if we are having a blah day that this game always cheers us up! Try it!

Earlier today I gave my girls a bowl of popcorn as a snack and after they finished it they wanted some more treat as they would say, I refused to give them more since they just had a whole bowl all to themselves, well after a little while I was talking on the phone and I went into the other room so I could hear and when I came back into the living room my girls had gotten their own cup of yogurt and their own spoons and were sitting at their little table eating it with no mess at all! A said to me "Mommy I was hungry, I was hungry." It was so cute and they were sharing with C and I just couldn't be mad. my little girls are getting so big everyday!

My hubby gave me the most amazing gift for Valentines! I got a wedding band! I have been wanting one for so long and I started awhile back looking for one, I guess he got the hint and surprised me on Valentines with an amazing wedding band, I LOVE IT! While I was at the DI last time I was in Utah, I found this awesome book! It has all the stories I loved as a kid and that I wanted to get for my children. Stories like Where the Wild things are, Goodnight Moon, Dr. Seuss and tons of others! This truly is a treasury! My girls are constantly wanting this book to be read to them, I love that they have a passion for stories and I am so glad I hunted enough to find this treasure!

Raising twins is like raising one child with two bodies, they have the same thoughts and actions. Sometimes I don't see the individual person that is one of my little girls. My oldest A is so beautiful, she is my girly girl, she always has to be dressed up and looking pretty life a princess, she is my helper whenever I need one and she helps her little sisters, she really is such a big girl and I miss that sometimes with all the everyday craziness that happens.

I needed some decorations for my twins room, I saw something similar at Heartland Paper Co. I thought it was a cute idea to use flashcards and pictures of our cute family. So I put this together, it took me a little while, but I think it turned out kinda cute and my girls already love it.

I also saw this on tatertots and jello and I loved it and I needed a new table covering until spring when I can refinish my table, when the weather is warmer. I am loving burlap and I love the texture of it so this was perfect!

One of the reasons I so looking forward to going to Disneyland was so that we could eat at the Blue Bayou and have their famous Monte Cristo sandwich! My best friend and I went there for our senior trip and it was so YUMMY! I don't know how long I had been craving this! Our family ate there and it was completely dark so I got some strange looks when I took a picture of my plate and the flash went off. It was so worth it!
