Christmas!

It has been a long while sense I updated this. We have moved to out little town and DH is working full time now, which is such a blessing. We have been busy unpacking and cleaning and with the holidays, but we miss all of our family and friends. It makes me feel better that we live in such an age that I can communicate with all of you and it just takes a matter of seconds before you get it. I love that I can keep in touch with all of my loved ones. Christmas was very fun! We had my parents and brother come up for Christmas morning. We made breakfast and opened presents and all of the wonderful traditions we do together as a family. My girls were so cute, they figured out the present thing so fast and C was adorable trying to be just like her sisters. I was so blessed this year I got a computer! So now I have access to the world now and don't feel so far away. Thanks mom!

We have been to church a couple times and LOVE it! Everyone is so friendly and it is full of young couples and young families so we feel right at home. I feel so blessed to be a member of the church and to know that wherever my family ends up we will have the same spirit and love in church that we would have anywhere else.

Updates and Halloween

I really should get into the habit of writing on this regularly. But oh well. My incision is taking forever to heal and it got infected so it looks really gross (don't worry no pictures!) I have to go into the doctors again today, they wanted to see me. Hopefully everything is OK.
Halloween was a blast! We dressed the girls up as pirates, they were to adorable we taught them how to say Rrrrr, like a pirate, so cute! We trick or treated on main st. in bountiful with all the cousins and aunts and uncles. Then we had dinner at my brothers house wish was so good! Thank to my sis Rachel! Then we trick or treated some more! We went up to the bountiful temple and saw the headless horseman that rides up there. That was so cool to see! Then we had to go show off our cute girls to the parents and all the neighbors. They love all that attention, I swear. Thankfully the girls got tired and DH parents offered to watch them so we could go to the Halloween Party at my brothers house. It was so nice to be able to sit together without having to watch all the kids. It was so fun to have everyone there and my brother and sister were so creative with all the decorations! Halloween was so fun and it makes it so much better to experience it through your kids eyes for the first time! Love those little pirates!

So we took the girls to the grocery store with us and they had these little carts for kids to use. We gave each of them one and they followed us around the store, they really thought they were grown up. It was so cute to see them be so big, where did my babies go?

Having Cancer

I am way behind in keeping up this blog. I am sure all of you know I have been diagnosed with melanoma. For the past three weeks I have been recovering from the surgery to remove the cancer. So I have been kind of loopy from the medicine, but they got it all!!! I was so excited! I am now cancer free and have such relief that I will be okay. I really think all the prayers and fasting for me, helped the situation, I am so grateful to be so loved! My ankle is healing, slowly but surely. It looks like I have huge shark bite out of my foot, but I can deal with that. My hubby has been so wonderful, looking after the girls when I am not able to. He does it so well and with a smile on his face, most of the time! LOL

The same day we found out that I am cancer free, DH got a new job! It will be great to have a income again and it is such a great job.

A day at the Dinosaur Museum

My mom and I took the girls to the Dinosaur museum in Ogden, it was so funny! A and K were afraid of all the exhibits, but they loved the playground. That place is really cool! They have one exhibit where some dinosaurs actually move and they look so real, it was crazy to imagine if they still existed how huge they would be. It took awhile for the girls to want to be in the same room though and my mom got a little freaked out once she noticed they moved, it was really funny!

When DH came home from basic I was wanting to get away for just a little while and I priced wendover and found it was way cheap, so spur of the moment we got our sisters to watch the kids and we went! I was so glad to get away for a little bit, just us.

Check with the Peck's

I wanted to start this blog for my family and friends. So they can check up on our family and read about our experiences and times together as a family. I like reading my families and friends blogs so I thought I would do the same. I will try to keep this updated with posts and pictures! I love all of you and am so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life! Hugs to you all!
